I had a Wahl plug-in vibrator for years that finally gave out when the thin cord started fraying. I chose this as the replacement over the Hitachi Magic Wand - when I turned them both on in the store, this one was slightly quieter and I thought the Hitachi might be too intense even on the lowest setting. Note that I didn't care about the cordless option - I planned to use it plugged in. I was happy for the first month or so with my purchase, but then it became increasingly loud and and inconsistent. Before it died 8 months later, it was vacuum-cleaner loud. I don't expect perfect silence but this was ridiculous. It can be electric razor loud but it shouldn't wake up the neighbors. Additionally, the vibrator itself got weaker as it got noisier so that even the high setting was pretty useless. One point I should mention is that since I didn't care about the plug-in aspect, I didn't keep it charged - so when I would use it, I would plug it in to the charger. And, as other reviewers have noted, it only held a charge for 15 minutes tops anyway. I'm not sure if my using it as a plug-in toy contributed to it's early demise, but I would not buy it again to find out.

runs with or without cord, not very loud, vibrates at a good speed on high and low. I did read the reviews before purchasing and a lot of them said that high was too high, in my opinion it isn't. My husband and I find it to be a good product, just wish it was a little smaller in size. Takes the stress of any day away.

My wife told me that it would be too big, and not to order it. She was sooooo wrong. She loves it. It gives her the most incredible orgasms. Its like nothing I have ever seen. It is VERY powerful. Holds the battery charge well. If you are frustrated with the typical vibrator, BUY this one. It is awesome.

I don't think the head is very soothing. It feels like it is something bounching on your skin. I also have trouble with it needing to be charged so often - seems like it should last a little longer. I don't think I would highly recommend - but it is ok.
